What does the Earth element mean in Saju?
Each of the five elements (오행) is a phase of energy. Earth carries its own season, direction, color and personality, and its balance with the other four shapes a chart. Your day master element is the “you,” but every pillar adds elements to the mix.
Is more Earth always better?
No — Saju is about balance, not maximizing one element. Too much of any element is as telling as too little. What matters is how Earth relates to your day master and to the elements you lack.
